Last week, the 2025 CONTAGIO annual internal meeting and public lecture series was held in Bucaramanga, Colombia. The Industrial University of Santander (UIS), through its Faculty of Health, will host the Annual Meeting of the CONTAGIO Consortium (COhorts Network To be Activated Globally In Outbreaks), a key initiative funded by the European Commission (2023-2026). This meeting, which will take place in Bucaramanga, Colombia from November 17 to 19, 2025, has as its main objective the establishment of rapid coordination mechanisms to respond effectively to outbreaks of infectious diseases
